Emerge Conference is an annual youth leadership and public speaking initiative headquartered in Tiko, Cameroon, led by Britney Fonki (President & Founder). 2. What Data We Collect

We only collect the minimum personal information strictly required to coordinate your conference attendance:

• Full Name: Pre-filled from your authenticated Google profile and verified by you.
• Email Address: Verified and received from Google Sign-In.
• WhatsApp Number: Provided by you in the 9-digit Cameroonian mobile format (+237 6XXXXXXXX).
• Booking Plan: Regular (Free) or VIP (10,000 FCFA).
• Technical Timestamps: Registration submission date and confirmation email dispatch log.

3. Why We Collect This Data

Your details are processed strictly for the following purposes:

• To secure your seat for Emerge Conference 2026 at Tiko Council.
• To transmit your conference confirmation email and official WhatsApp community group link.
• To facilitate personalized WhatsApp communication regarding VIP seating and logistical updates.

4. Third-Party Service Providers

We do not operate ads or data brokerage. Data is securely processed by reputable third-party infrastructure providers:

• Google Identity Services: Provides single sign-on authentication and email verification.
• Supabase: Provides encrypted database storage protected by Row Level Security (RLS).
• Resend: Delivers transactional confirmation emails.
• WhatsApp (Meta): Facilitates direct communications when you choose to connect.
• Netlify: Serves the static website over secure HTTPS.

5. Data Retention Period

Registration records are retained for a period of up to 12 months following the 2026 conference to assist with event retrospectives, certificate distribution, and notifying attendees of subsequent leadership cohorts, after which records are purged.

6. Your Rights & No Sale of Data

We will never sell, rent, or trade your personal information. You maintain the right at any time to request access to your stored information, request corrections, or ask for complete deletion of your registration by emailing emergeconference24@gmail.com.
